My Rocking Chair and I
Come winter when nature’s nudity starks
Blossoms furl in frozen stupor
And roots sleep in snow blanket hibernation…
My rocking chair and I take by the fireplace
Come spring when apple blossoms fragrant the air
Lilacs perfume through the crevices
And junipers open to the glory of sun drenched days…
My rocking chair and I take to the veranda
Deep floorboard groves – inside…outside…
The mystery of hypnotic flames
The rhythms of nature’s perfection
Move
My Rocking Chair and I
I wish you a happy Easter and a spring of new beginnings.
Thank you for being a part of my community.
In deep appreciation,
